Festival Composer at ICMF, Stavanger
I have the honor of being this year’s composer in residence at Stavanger International Chamber Music Festival. Thanks to the artistic leaders Grieg Trio for giving me a really interesting challenge and a generous exposure! This will be my contributions:

A new reading of Edvard Grieg’s “Slåtter” (Norwegian fiddle dances) opus 72 juxtaposed with the original stuff for the Hardanger fiddle.

17/08 THE LONG SOUND - Installation Concert
In the special acoustics of the Beer Halls at Tou Scene, the Hilliard-ensemble performs “Viderunt” by Perotin. Around this music Nils Henrik has created a concert event including a new work for the Hilliards, improvisations with three musicians and electronics, ending with a set on the sensational 30 meter “Long String Instrument” by the american composer Ellen Fullman, also in cooperation with the three musicans.
