I just finished a new choir piece on an exerpt from the splendid poem “SOLARIS KORRIGERT” by Øyvind Rimbereid. The piece is commisioned by Stavanger Vokalensemble with support from Norsk Kulturråd. I am investigating ways of setting parts of this text, with a view to produce a larger work sometime. Øyvind and I have talked a few times on this - the last time was at during a memorable dinner at in Berlin, together with Knut Vaage and both guys’ girlfriends.
